Welcome to the Rock Hill Tavern
The Rock Hill Tavern, originally a hotel, was established sometime in the late 1700's. It is situated along the Conestoga River in the small post town of Rock Hill, about midway between Slackwater and Safe Harbor. It once contained a grist mill, blacksmith shop, about twenty dwellings and a post office. Through the years, the Tavern has seen it's share of history as wells as owners. In August of 2007 current owners, Rob Commero & Chad Martin, began to breathe new life into the building, the menu and the service. The cuisine could be loosely labeled as an Americanized brasserie-style. The kind of menu that has something for everyone. The setting and decor are rustic and charming with plenty of comfort and warmth to go around.
